Manicurist who created a set of nails inspired by Kim Kardashian’s emoticon Kimoji hits the big time when the star shares her work on social media

When Kim Kardashian West shares your post you know you’ve got her seal of approval.

But if she shares it twice, you know you’ve made a good impression.

That’s exactly what happened to 28-year-old make up artist and nail technician Karla Morris from Taranaki, New Zealand.

After spending a week in hospital Mrs Morris said a client messaged her asking if she knew that the most famous Kardashian had shared her hand painted nail set inspired by the Kimoji app online.

She told Daily Mail Australia the surprise was exactly what she needed after having a ‘crappy week’ unwell in hospital.

‘I had come out on the Friday and the next day a client messaged me asking have you seen this…she was sent a screen shot and showed me that she [Kim Kardashian West] shared it,’ she said.

‘I just hashtagged Kimoji … I don’t know that she does the searching herself – you’d probably sit there for a few hours. I was honoured and it was lovely.’
